SkillsUSA Wyoming Fall Leadership Conference

Each fall leadership conference is open to active and aspiring members of SkillsUSA Wyoming.

If overnight stay is necessary, please make your reservations DIRECTLY with a Torrington hotel of your choice.

All Wyoming SkillsUSA chapters are encouraged to come together for this one-day leadership conference. The conference registration fee is $45 per attendee and includes leadership training, lunch, and dinner. Conference registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please register and submit your payments early.

Registration will be open from October 21 thru November 4, 2024.  All payments are due by November 18, 2024. Checks should be made payable to SkillsUSA Wyoming with “Fall Leadership” in the memo line.

GENERAL TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

November 21

2pm: School arrival, registration
2:30pm:  Opening Session (SkillsUSA Framework)

3pm-5:30pm:  Breakout Rotations

6pm:  Dinner

7-9pm  Framework Palooza

Evening Chapter time to study for Statesman Award

November 22

9am:  General Session (all should eat breakfast before arriving)  Program of Work

930am:  Color Groups – Par 3 and Statesman Sign-offs

12:30am:  Lunch followed by Closing Celebration and Awards

DRESS CODE

No shorts,
no sweatpants or leggings,
no skirts above the knee,
no ripped jeans or jeans with holes,
no graphic t-shirts, unless SkillsUSA specific
no hoodies,
no ballcaps,
no tennis shoes,
no earbuds or headphones
Students may wear jeans, SkillsUSA branded T-shirts supporting your local chapter, state or the national association, and any clean shoes beyond tennis or gym shoes.

WHAT TO BRING
All students and advisors will need to bring a writing pad or notebook, along with a pen or pencil, to take notes and jot down new ideas.  Things to consider:  Laptop, water bottle.
